Synchronized SkatingSynchronized Skating is an exciting and fun way to enjoy the great sport of Figure Skating. Our teams are called Synchronicity and we are enjoying the beginning of our 4th year! In the 2006-07 skating season, Port Huron FSC fielded 2 teams, at the Beginner &Pre-Juvenile levels. For the 2007-2008 skating season we are proud to be represented by a Beginner 2 level team. A team of 8 -12 skaters. The majority of skaters must be between the ages of 9-11. This team offers Basic Skills level skaters to get a taste of what it is like to be on a synchronized team and compete in a skill and age appropriate level at non-qualifying or basic skills competitions. No skaters may have passed higher than preliminary and the majority of the team must be "no test". This is the best way to teach beginning and low-level athletes the fundamentals of synchronized skating and the building blocks for skills that they will need. www.usfigureskating.org/content/beginner-synchro-rules-overview.pdf We plan to compete 2-3 times this season. Last year we competed in Plymouth MI Canton OH @ TriStates, and in Ontario, Canada. Contact UsFor more information please contact our coach:
