USFSA / PHFSC Membership
All skaters at the Port Huron Figure Skating Club are required to be members of the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). The fees are included on your registration form. If you are changing from another USFSA Club, please do so before or at the time of registration. A yearly membership is from July 1st to June 30th the following year.
The USFSA is the National Governing Body of amateur figure skating on ice in The United States. It was formed in 1921 and had only 7 members. Today, the association has 600 member clubs across the country.
Your joint PHFSC / USFSA membership gives the skater the right of testing and competing through USFSA. The monthly "Skating Magazine" is also included in your USFSA membership dues for beginners and up; and is sent to your home address.
